A yard sign has a simple job, get noticed and hold up until the promotion, event, or listing is over. Everything about how it’s built serves that one purpose.
Size depends on how it’s being used. Our standard size is 24″ wide by 18″ tall, built for general use and readability from the road. An 18″ by 24″ portrait orientation works well for signs that need more vertical space, like a directional sign or a sign mounted somewhere narrow. An 18″ by 12″ size fits smaller applications where a full standard sign isn’t needed. Custom sizes are available on request for anything outside these three.
Material is corrugated plastic, commonly called coroplast, lightweight enough to handle easily but durable enough to withstand rain, sun, and wind for 6 to 9 months outdoors. Full-color printing uses fade-resistant inks, so the sign still looks sharp well into its lifespan, not just the first few weeks.
Single-sided works for signs viewed from one direction, like along a fence line or against a wall. Double-sided makes sense for signs placed in open yards or medians, where traffic passes from both directions.
Wire stakes are available per sign, if you need mounting hardware included with your order rather than sourcing it separately.

A yard sign gets read fast, usually from a moving car, so the file needs to be built for quick readability, not fine print. Bold, simple text and high contrast between the background and lettering hold up best at a distance.
Vector files, like AI, EPS, or PDF, print sharpest for text and logos. High-resolution images work too, as long as they’re built at full size from the start. If you designed in Canva, we can work with that too, just share the link with us instead of downloading it yourself.
Bleed matters here, extend your background color or image slightly past the edge so nothing leaves a white gap once it’s trimmed to size.
