A look at the materials and sign types we offer.

Real estate signs get more repeated use than almost anything else we print, every new listing means another sign going up. Material choice comes down to how many listings you’re running and how long you want each sign to last.

Double bonded coroplast is our most popular option, and for good reason. Two 4mm coroplast sheets bonded together create a full 8mm double-sided sign, with a gloss and UV coating for weather protection. It’s the most affordable choice, holds up for 1 to 2 years, and includes a center hole on directional signs for easy stake mounting.

Premium metal signs use aluminum composite material, ACM, with a high-gloss car wrap vinyl coating, the same material used on vehicle wraps. These hold up 4 to 7 years, noticeably longer than coroplast, and are available with rounded corners for a more polished look. Riders can link directly onto the main sign for a clean, professional presentation.

Sizing runs across three categories. Directionals, the smaller signs that point toward a listing, come in 18×12 or 24×18. Marquee signs, the main L-post sign in front of a property, come in 24×24, 24×30, or 24×36. Riders, the small signs that attach below a marquee sign for details like price or agent name, come in 18×6, 24×6, or 24×9. Wood stakes are available in 3 foot or 4 foot lengths.

All real estate signs print double-sided as standard.

What Makes a Real Estate Sign File Print-Ready

A real estate sign needs to be readable at a glance, from a moving car or a quick walk past a yard. Bold text, high contrast, and a clean layout matter more here than intricate design work.

Vector files, like AI, EPS, or PDF, print sharpest for text, logos, and agent branding. High-resolution images work too, as long as they’re built at full size from the start. If you designed in Canva, we can work with that too, just share the link with us instead of downloading it yourself.

Since riders often link to a main sign, keeping consistent fonts, colors, and spacing between your directional, marquee, and rider files helps everything look like one cohesive set once it’s all staked in the yard.

Don’t have a print-ready file? That’s fine. Upload your logo, headshot, brokerage branding, or an existing design, and we’ll build it into something that actually gets noticed from the street. If you have any questions along the way, call, text, or email us.

Turnaround Expectations

Turnaround depends on material, quantity, and whether the order includes riders or stakes alongside the main signs. We’ll give you a real timeline once we know what you’re ordering.

Why Choose LDI for Real Estate Signs

Real estate signs get ordered more than almost anything else we print, new listing, new sign, over and over. We build that relationship in, remembering your specs, your branding, and your usual order, so you’re not starting from scratch every time a new listing goes live.

Most agents don’t have time to re-explain their setup on every call. You’ve got a listing, a deadline, and a dozen other things pulling at you. When you call us, we already know if you run coroplast or metal, what your rider usually says, whether you like the center hole for stake mounting. That’s not a script we follow, it’s just what happens when the same people handle your orders instead of a call center reading off a screen.

We’ve also seen what happens when signs get treated like a commodity, cheap material, no consistency, a different look every time an agent reorders. That’s not how we run it. If you’re building a brand as an agent, your signs should look the same whether it’s your first listing this year or your fiftieth.

Twenty years in Birmingham real estate printing means we’ve made just about every kind of mistake once, and fixed our process because of it. You get the benefit of that without having to be the one who found the problem.
