Foam board is a lightweight rigid panel built for indoor display. Set it on an easel, mount it in a frame, or lean it against a wall, it stays flat and handles easily.
Here’s where our foam boards differ from most. We apply a high-gloss vinyl to the face of the board rather than printing on paper or laminating after the fact. That single production choice is why our boards read sharper and richer than what you’ll typically see, colors stay saturated and the surface has real depth to it. Matte is available on special request, but we recommend gloss because the difference is obvious side by side.
White paper faced foam board is our standard core and what most projects call for. A 3/16″ polystyrene core gives you a clean, professional panel at the lowest cost, and it’s the only option we turn around in 24 hours after design approval.
Black paper faced foam board works the same way, but with black core faces instead of white. That matters when the board’s edges are visible in the display, black reads cleaner against dark backgrounds or in staged photography. Special order, so plan on about a week.
GatorFoam is the more durable option. It sandwiches extruded polystyrene between two rigid outer layers, either PVC or wood veneer depending on the application, which makes it noticeably more resistant to warping and denting. Worth choosing for retail displays, trade show booths, or anything handled repeatedly. Also a special order, about a week.
Most orders fall into two sizes, 24″ x 36″ and 12″ x 18″. Custom sizes are available if your project calls for something different, including larger formats. Single or double-sided printing available on all options.

Foam boards get viewed up close in most settings, a conference room, a lobby, a retail display. That means resolution matters more here than on signage meant to be read from a distance.
We recommend 300 dpi at your final print size for the sharpest results. Vector files, like AI, EPS, or PDF, work well for text and logos since they scale without losing quality. If you designed in Canva, we can work with that too, just share the link with us instead of downloading it yourself.
Include a 1/8-inch bleed for trimming, no need to add cut marks. That extra margin means nothing important gets cut off along the edge.

Put ours next to theirs and you’ll see it immediately, the color depth, the sharpness, the way the surface actually holds up under lights.
That production choice costs us more time and material than the standard approach. We do it anyway because a foam board usually sits in front of a room full of people, and there’s no hiding a flat, washed-out print in that setting.
We also ask what the board is actually for before quoting anything. A board headed to a one-hour presentation and a board going into a retail display for six months aren’t the same product. White paper faced handles the first job well. GatorFoam is built for the second. Answering that question upfront saves you from ordering the wrong thing.
And foam boards almost always get ordered late. Someone realizes Wednesday they need display boards for a Friday presentation. Our standard white boards turn around in 24 hours after approval, which is usually the difference between having them and not.
