Most car magnets we print fall into two sizes, 18″ x 24″ and 12″ x 18″. Those cover the majority of vehicle doors and give you enough space for a business name, phone number, and logo without crowding the design. Custom sizes are available on request if your vehicle or layout calls for something different.
Corners come square or rounded. Square gives a clean, professional edge. Rounded corners are slightly safer to handle and less likely to catch or lift at the edge over time.
The magnetic material itself is built for daily driving, waterproof and UV safe, so it resists fading, cracking, and peeling through rain, sun, and highway speeds. It holds firmly to metal without damaging the paint underneath, and comes off clean whenever you need to remove it.
Two things worth knowing before you order. First, check that your vehicle actually has metal doors, many newer models use plastic, aluminum, or other non-magnetic materials, and a magnet won’t hold on those. Second, once you get your magnet, let it sit overnight before driving, that initial adhesion period helps it grip securely at speed.

A car magnet gets read from a moving vehicle, often from the lane over or at a stoplight. Bold text, high contrast, and a clean layout matter far more than fine detail that gets lost at a glance.
Keep it simple. Business name, phone number, and maybe one line about what you do. Anything more than that becomes unreadable at speed. Your phone number should be the largest element after your business name, since that’s the whole point.
Vector files, like AI, EPS, or PDF, print sharpest for text and logos. High-resolution images work too, as long as they’re built at full size from the start. If you designed in Canva, we can work with that too, just share the link with us instead of downloading it yourself.

The magnet itself won't damage the finish, but leaving it on for long stretches without removing it can cause the surrounding paint to fade unevenly, leaving a visible outline where the magnet sat. Take it off periodically, clean both surfaces, and that won't happen.
Check whether your doors are actually metal. Many newer vehicles use plastic, aluminum, or composite panels that won't hold a magnet at all. A quick test with any household magnet will tell you.
